Make a cute tote by using a purchased canvas tote and colorful felt. The patterns can be downloaded by becoming our Facebook friend. Look for Sophie Asheville.

Trace the pattern onto felt, and cut out. The birds and the watermelon can simply be glued or appliqued onto the tote bag.

For the flower, first glue or applique the orange base flower, stem, and leaves onto tote.

Fold the yellow heart “petals” at the point and stitch to hold fold in place. Glue/Applique on top of the orange base flower.

Using scraps of felt, cut a circle and twirl to form center of flower. Glue/Applique on top of yellow petals.

Carry your new tote with you to the grocery store, the mall, or the beach!
